Most homeowners have a busy schedule and cannot attend all the meetings, however staying informed of the board decisions it's crucial for the well being of our community. If you would like to receive a monthly report of the items discussed during the meeting, sign up for the newsletter. The information provided is more detailed than the monthly minutes and emailed soon after the meeting.
There have been significant changes to our board of directors. We still have not been able to hold annual elections, but due to recent events and resignations, we have an almost brand new board. This new board is doing a better job of following proper procedure and reviewing all pending issues within our community. Since we have a new Treasurer, financial information is starting to be provided, however, we still need to get more details when it comes to how our funds are being spent. At the last meeting we learned that there is still missing paperwork regarding the expenditures of the Galleria and Gym renovation and for some cuestionable reason the board is changing their position regarding the implementation of a forensic audit. Many homeowners, on the other hand, feel strongly that due to the lack of paperwork, and the conflict of interest revealed between board members and vendors, a forensic audit it's a must.
Please attend the meeting to support our concerns for transparency as to how our funds are being used, and accountability to those responsible for our funds. This lack of oversight and control over our reserves can lead to undesired assements down the road. We need to demand the implementation of the forensic audit previously approved, please join us and make your voice be heard.
